Office Chairs Good Posture
The pain caused by scoliosis?
I was diagnosed with minor scoliosis when I was a child. She was so small that surgical treatment was considered unnecessary. I've been working a desk job type (patent attorney) for some years and my back pain has been significantly worse. The back muscles to be extremely tight and my husband give me a back rub every night. Never mentioned it to him, but he wrote about the fact my spine is not straight. Could this be inconvenienced by my scoliosis? Or is it because I feel too long? (I try to get up and walk around every couple of hours …. I generally in good shape and very thin. I have a really awesome desk chair that is supposed to be ideal for the back, posture, etc. Steelcase (the Think chair.) Thanks!
The pain may appear before because you are sitting too long, but scoliosis is the prime suspect. It would be nice to know how many degrees are in its curve. Your case is very similar to mine. If your back has a slope of over 30 degrees, you may gradually increase, even when you're done growing. Ask your doctor for a referral to a specialist in scoliosis.
